Zhymere Morgan, an up-and-coming rapper from Rochester, who goes by the rap name Lil’ Perco, performs a show at the Montage Music Hall in Downtown Rochester. Morgan’s jacket features Nipsley Hussle, was a well-known Los Angeles rapper, businessman, and activist for the Black community, who was shot and killed on March 31, 2019. Morgan’s older cousin, Lonnie Keys Jr., who went by the rap name King Kada, was shot and killed on March 13, 2022, outside of a nightclub. Morgan saw Keys as a mentor and performed a tribute song to his cousin at the beginning of his performance.
